Steve Barclay's One Man Variety Music hall show

Just two giant sized music hall posters from the Grand and Collins Music Hall and a mirror, he re-creates his dressing room on stage where he transforms himself "before your very eyes" into tributes to MAX MILLER, GEORGE FORMBY, KEN DODD, TESSIE O'SHEA, FLANAGAN AND ALLEN, BILLY BENNETT AND HYLDA BAKER to name just a few!
Telling the story of Music Hall in the first half, Steve moves to variety in the second, which incorporates ventriloquist Al Hutch assisted by Freddie and his own comedy patter. With music, stand up comedy, the obligatory sing a long accompanied by Steve on his ukelele; This show with audience participation promises a splendid cocktail of pure British Variety Music Hall at its Best.
Steve Barclay has played theatres nationwide including the Leeds City Varieties, home of BBC TV's "The Good Old Days" and the famous London Palladium and this show has attracted rave reviews as it tours the country in some of the most popular venues. In this two and half hour spectacle Steve Barclay will show you that the spirit of variety lives on!
